Eggs!

I'm glad I found this article as I have recently been lucky enough to have my glowlight tetras lay eggs (which was surprisingly easy!). Unfortunately it has been about a week since they first spawned and I have seen no movement within the breeding tank;-I was having trouble finding out how long this breed's eggs take to hatch. I guess I'll just have to wait for them to spawn again now :(

Glowlight fish vanished

I bought six 1" long glowlight fish last week, and one totally disappeared. There is a replacement guarantee if any expire, but I have no "body" to take back to the pet store. They are fun to watch and very fast, and seem friendly as they come up to the glass when I am near. 1st 24 hours they loved the bubbler. They spent their time trying to swim towards the bubbles as they erupted on top of the water, only to be pushed away to try again. They seemed to be having lots of fun. So far (after one week) I am very happy with them.

Glowlight twilight?

We have 2 glowlights that have been with us since we set this aquarium up about 3 years ago. We started with three; but, one passed within the first year. They are beautiful to watch and are no problem whatsoever. I just might have to get a couple more to join them. I do have a question, though. How long do these fellas live?
