What I Did:
Multi-Betta Aquarium
How I Did It:
I took a 29-gallon aquarium and split it up in 5 partitions using some readily available plastic dividers and a bit of silicone to hold each divider in place. Each partition is planted with a large Amazon sword to give the bettas a place where they can't see (or be seen) by their neighbors. I have small filters at either end of the tank to keep the things clean and to help spread the warmth of the heater. The bettas are all thriving.
Tips and Tricks
- If I had this to do again, I might use a 15 or 20-gallon long tank instead of a 29-gallon tank. Bettas don't really need a deep tank.
