bubble nest

Definition: Bubble nest is a floating raft of air bubbles and sometimes aquatic plants, held together by an oral secretion, in which the eggs of some fish are placed for incubation and are guarded by the male parent. Members of the family Anabantidae are the most widely known users of such nests.
