aged water

By Shirlie Sharpe, About.com

Definition: Aged water is tap water that has been left to stand for several days, thus causing the chlorine to be neutralized; or water from a healthy, well-established aquarium that does not contain large amounts of nutrients.

Some aquarium owners use aged water for performing all water changes, thus elminating the need for treating the water with chemicals.
