Similar to the Hydor Mini Heater, this is a great little heater, as long as you keep in mind what it's intended for - Betta bowls. There are no temperature settings on this heater. There is also no on and off switch. Plug it in and it's on, to turn it off you must unplug it.
On the plus side, this heater is small and unbreakable. What is the best feature of the Zoo Med Betta Therm Mini Size Betta Bowl Heater, is that it is flat and round, which matches the bottom of a Betta bowl perfectly. The cord is placed at a right angle, making bottom placement a snap. Sold with a suction cup, it can also be stuck on the side of the tank.
The Zoo Med Betta Therm Mini heater is 7.5 watts, and states it will increase the water temperature by five to ten degrees F. That makes it perfect for the one to three gallon bowl.
