Books are invaluable to all fish owners, from beginner to advanced. This selection of reference books covers a wide range of topics about Stingrays.
This is an outstanding book that covers aquarium setup, proper diet, disease treatment, and even breeding. Particularly helpful are tips such as using heater guards, and identifying the "death curl" sign of undernourishment. An excellent book for any freshwater stingray owner.
This Aqualog special covers habitat, basic care requirements, feeding, breeding, and health care for a variety of freshwater stringray species.
Aqualogs are designed to maintain consistency fish identification, regardless of nomenclature changes. Each fish has at least one color photo, basic information, and a description. Regular updates are published to keep the original volume up to date. This volume covers all rays living in fresh or brackish water, including sawfishes, guitarfishes and South American freshwater stingrays.
I have not been able to procure a copy of this volume, however I wanted to include it, as there are very few books on rays.
