Arguably one of the most popular of the Tetra family, the Neon Tetra is a beautiful little fish that is quite often confused with its close cousin, the Cardinal Tetra.Both species can be kept in a community aquarium with other small, peaceful fish, However, like most Tetras they should always be kept in schools, preferably in a well aquascaped planted tank. Few things are as stunning as a large school of Neon or Cardinal Tetras.
