Keeping Red Eye Tetras

The brilliant red over the eyes of the Moenkhausia sanctaefilomenae make it pretty obvious where its common name of Red Eye Tetra came from. Readily available at most pet shops, they make an excellent beginner fish, or a lively addition to a community tank. Some even use them as a dither fish
