Fin Rot Damage

An aquarium owner recently commented that he had dealt with fin rot and wondered if the damaged fins of the infected fish would grow back. While it is possible for damaged fins to re-grow, it is a long process, and if the fin rays themselves are damaged, the process will take even longer.

Fin Rot is one of the most common, and unfortunately, one of the more difficult diseases to cure. Left untreated, it will kill the sick fish and quickly infect other fish in the aquarium as well. Fortunately, it can be prevented in most cases. Here's how to treat infected fish, and how to avoid Fin Rot in the first place.

Have you battled Fin Rot? Share how you cured it.
