Is Bleach Safe For Aquarium Use?

Few topics spark more debate than the use of bleach for cleaning aquariums. Some say it's the end all of cleaning products. Others believe that as soon as you crack open that bleach bottle every living thing within a ten-block radius will mysteriously die.

The reality is that there is a some truth on both sides. In general bleach is a useful cleaning product when used properly. Here is how to use bleach safely in your aquarium
