Alternanthera reineckii ''roseafolia'' (Water Hedge)

Saturday July 4, 2009
The attractive red color of the water hedge makes an excellent contrast in a planted aquarium, and its ease of care makes it a double winner.

I really enjoyed this article. The Alternanthera reineckii is an exceptional aquarium plant and flourishes in suitable conditions. This plant only requires moderate care and transforms a decent sized aquarium into an aqua-oasis. The color is amazing and I surprised the Alternanthera reineckii isn’t utilized in aquariums more often.
