Blind Cave Fish

That which it lacks is what makes this fish so interesting. Having neither eyes or skin pigmentation hasn't hurt the popularity of the Blind Cave Fish a bit. Its unique lack of eyes has caused it to be used in studies to determine the impact of lens transplants. Information gained in those studies may one day contribute to the development of eye transplants in humans.Photo © Shirlie L Sharpe
