I had an issue with this in my 180 gal. Turns out I was dosing with too much c02. Within 3 days of me reducing the c02 to 1-3 bubbles per second the algae disappeared. It had previously been all over EVERYTHING and had caused me immense manual cleansing efforts.

Hope this helps someone!
